Hayley Yendell EYFS

School Improvement

Hayley is a Teaching and Learning Adviser for Herts for Learning (HfL), a provider of school improvement services. Their main business comes through trading a wide range of school improvement and business support services to academies, schools, and educational settings. The company also has a contract with Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) to deliver some of its statutory education functions. Hayley has a specific focus within the Early Years and has extensive experience of working with schools in challenging circumstances to improve outcomes. Hayley is the current Chair of Governors at Fairlands.

Claire has previously worked in Marketing, taking responsibilities for running teams and managing large scale projects. She has had extensive experience with HR and Finance within this role. In her current role in the Local Authority; she ensures access to Education for a vulnerable group, acts as a lead professional for safeguarding, works in collaboration with the police and social services.  Claire has been a Governor for six years and has attended numerous courses during this period. She has been the Chair of Governors at Camps Hill for two years.

 

Richard Sarche School Improvement

Staff development

Richard has been a Headteacher of both a Primary and Special School, serving communities in West and North London. He then moved to Kensington and Chelsea where he had the title of Head of Access and Inclusion for seven years.  Moving to Redbridge he took on the role of; Head of Inclusion.  After retiring from working in local authorities, Richard became a qualified coach working in both private businesses and educational settings with clients such as Achievement For All. He still also works as an Educational Consultant for Redbridge and Havering.  He is currently Chair of Governors at another Herts school and is keen to be involved in the Academy agenda.

 

Reza Shamtally Business

Communications

Reza is the CEO of the marketing and design company SAMMAKKO. He is also the commercial director of the Care Unlimited Home group and has expertise in business, communication (specifically digital) and branding. Reza is a director of the (not for profit) organisation ART HALO which works with adults with mental health, Autism or learning difficulties. He fundraises for adults with SEND and promotes awareness resulting most recently in a new horticultural centre being built to enhance the quality of life for this group.  He has shared ownership of an Art Gallery in London. As a parent, Reza is keen to give back to the community and use his business knowledge to improve outcomes for all children.

 

Tim Day School Improvement

Finance

Tim served as a teacher for 40 years in Hertfordshire, spending 20 of those years in headship. In that time, he led three schools out of ‘school causing concern’ status to good or better Ofsted judgements, including opening a new school from the amalgamation of two schools that were judged inadequate. He has considerable financial expertise both through his experience as a school leader and as a treasurer for a charitable trust. He currently serves a governor for an independent school in Harrow.
